General Questions:
Are your designs aligned with any specific political party or ideology?
No, our brand is committed to representing all people, regardless of their political affiliations. We believe in unity and inclusivity, and our designs aim to highlight issues that affect everyone. Our focus is on raising awareness about systemic challenges and encouraging critical thinking, without promoting any particular political agenda.
Why don't you offer children's sizes for your designs?
At AwakeApparel, we firmly believe that children deserve to enjoy their innocence and childhood without being drawn into complex adult issues. Our decision to exclusively offer adult sizes is a deliberate one, rooted in our commitment to respect and protect the pure essence of childhood.
What's the difference between being "awake" and being "woke"?
We understand that the term "woke" has taken on a negative connotation due to its association with extreme and sometimes performative activism. At AwakeApparel, when we refer to being "awake," we mean being informed, aware, and open to critically examining various aspects of our world. We promote conscious awareness that encourages thoughtful reflection and meaningful actions. Our mission is to foster a community of individuals who are actively engaged in understanding the complex issues that shape our society without the divisive undertones sometimes associated with the term "woke."
Who is "They"?
“They” refers to the powerful entities, systems, and individuals who control much of the world’s resources, influence governments, and shape public perception. These include corporate elites, financial institutions, media conglomerates, and unelected bureaucrats who often prioritize profits, control, and compliance over the well-being of people. “They” perpetuate toxic systems, corporate greed, and manipulation, making it harder for everyday people to live freely and authentically.
At AwakeApparel, we encourage questioning these power structures, seeking the truth, and promoting awareness about how “They” impact society. It’s not about pushing conspiracies—it’s about empowering critical thinking and taking action to challenge the status quo.
Do your designs imply any negativity towards specific professions like teachers, doctors, or military personnel?
Not at all. Our designs are meant to shed light on systemic issues and power dynamics rather than targeting any particular group. We firmly believe that everyone, including teachers, doctors, nurses, police officers, military personnel, and countless others, are doing their best within the constraints of the systems they work in.
Do your designs promote or endorse violence?
Not at all. AwakeApparel is committed to advocating for positive change through peaceful means and open conversation. Our designs are intended to spark discussions, raise awareness, and encourage critical thinking about important issues.
